1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mythic Scout ("the Service"), operated by Mythic Works LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Mythic Scout is a B2B lead discovery platform that helps freelance web designers and agencies find local businesses with underperforming websites. The Service provides automated website analysis, scoring, contact extraction, and outreach support tools.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is intended for business use by web design professionals. During the design partner beta, access is by invitation only.

4. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information during registration.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Send unsolicited communications (spam) using data obtained through the Service in violation of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, or any other applicable anti-spam or privacy legislation.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when conducting outreach.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service beyond the intended API usage.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute data obtained from the Service without our written consent.
  • Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Data and Business Information

The Service analyzes publicly available website data and business information sourced from third-party providers (including Google Places). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Scores and analyses are algorithmically generated estimates and should not be treated as definitive assessments.

You are solely responsible for verifying business information and complying with all applicable laws when using data obtained through the Service for outreach or marketing purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its scoring algorithms, user interface, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Mythic Works LLC. You retain ownership of any content you upload or create within the Service (e.g., notes, custom categories).

8. Pricing and Payment

The design partner beta is currently free of charge. When paid plans are introduced, we will provide at least 30 days notice. Continued use after pricing changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Refund policies will be outlined in the applicable plan documentation.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mythic Works LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost business opportunities, or damages resulting from outreach activities conducted using data from the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mythic Works LLC from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service, your outreach activities, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account and data at any time through the Service settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia.
